Liderar des del nivell mitjà del sistema: el paper dels «middle tiers» per desenvolupar el lideratge educatiu
Resum
Aquest article pretén descriure i analitzar com és possible potenciar el lideratge educatiu des dels nivells intermedis del sistema, i el paper decisiu que poden realitzar aquests nivells intermedis o middle tiers com a agents de canvi i per millorar. Es fa servir una metodologia de revisió narrativa de la literatura enfocada a sintetitzar el coneixement i la pràctica existent sobre el tema a nivell internacional, alhora que s’examina de manera crítica i subjectiva. Com a resultat es conclou el següent: 1. El lideratge dels nivells intermedis del sistema importa i té una relació positiva amb els resultats i la millora de la qualitat de l’educació; 2. Cal potenciar la connexió dels agents i de les institucions intermedis entre si i amb els nivells inferiors i superiors per aconseguir un lideratge sistèmic; 3. El lideratge des dels nivells intermedis té en compte el context, però s’hi han identificat algunes característiques comunes; 4. Cal un esforç de conceptualització i nomenclatura, i 5. Les investigacions estan concentrades a l’àrea anglosaxona i caldria introduir aquesta línia crucial de recerca en altres llocs.
