Diversity and gender in interpersonal relationships
Abstract
This article is a part of a wider study addressed to primary school teachers and consists on some didactical materials with a sequence of the contents, which are along a coeducational view. The author includes some didactical guidance taken from a didactical unit titled: «The treatment of diversity from the gender’s point of view», and particularly, she develops one of the issues about people: what they look like and what they are. The article develops different kind of relationships which can take place inside a small group, relating to the idea of diversity; this idea itself, used as an amount of personal and diverse characteristics; some didactical technic; analysis of those children’s behaviours based on prejudices and stereotypes and also of those which tend to promote the knowledge of the others
in their diversity of characteristics.
