Abstract

The importance in education of computer networks comes from its ability to use the networks communication possibilities. New experiences and projects appear where students are becoming heavy users of these networks. Educators cannot remain neutral to these changes.
The impact of information and communication technologies in education is not limited to their effect when used in teaching-learning experiences. A broader roadmap for the change is required involving users, learning environment, educational models, etc. The changes in technology and culture in the current society require changes in educational models.
