The research group IDEA Forum. Projects, code of ethics and epistemological framework

Abstract

The articles on learning communities which are presented have been written by members
of the research group Fòrum IDEA (Research and Development of Adult Education), from
the Autonomous University of Barcelona. These researchers are directly engaged with the
learning community experience of the Tanit primary school, from Santa Coloma de
Gramenet, and also to other projects concerning adult education and community development. Before the articles we remark the features that define and characterize the research group. The research group is presented in this introductory section as following: definition and composition of the research group, the projects that it is undertaking, the ethical code which supports its action and the epistemological, theoretical and methodological framework wich constitutes its basis.
