Road Safety Education Project: a working guide for the development of the educative curricula

Abstract

A study ordered by the Road Safety Department in 2008 denoted that road safety education was carried out in the majority of the educative centers but not in all of them. The development was not the same in all the education levels. In the governmental education orders in 2007 and 2008, road education is a part of the curricula of primary education, secondary education and pre-university studies and it has an important relation with the curricula competences. For that reason Government has initiated the Road Safety Education Project that has the objective of provide implementation patterns to the educative centers. This project has to be a working guide for all the educative centers on Catalonia.
