Comunities of practice
Abstract
Communities of practice are nowadays an important concept in learning and knowledge management. There is not only a significative amount of research in the field, but also many projects done in companies. This paper starts by introducing the origins of communities of practice, defines then the concept and deal with its links with knowledge management. Finally, the paper focus on the important problem of community implementation in organizations.Keywords
