Abstract

This paper is based on a research whose aim was to detect gender stereotypes, linguistic sexism and emotional tensions that appear at current sexist jokes and at the wrong ones called «feminists». In both cases there is a verbal and symbolic speech that conveys a discriminatory and vehement message: reflection-construction of gender relations in our current society and the verbal expression of psychic, energetic and cultural tensions.
Through the jokes shown in this paper we have walked towards our society with regard to gender relations by means of a cultural and popular narrative, anonymous, contemporary and spontaneous. It is a simplification and generalization of the case that we are dealing with. Nevertheless, it is a good way to lean out of the window and observe our current society.
