Abstract

The practice of leadership in schools and the several ways of putting it into practice, continue arousing everyone’s interest when it comes to designing and carrying out researches that disclose its impact on student performance. Undoubtedly, reports such as PISA, TALIS or «McKinsey» (Barber & Mourshed, 2007) have had a great impact when it comes to redefine education policies in different countries, and this repercussion is one of the reasons why this research has been boosted. In this sense, and as the basis of this paper, we are supposed to be suggesting new research lines that allow us to go into the idiosyncrasy of the subject, not only going into the spheres that were well-known in School Organization regarding leadership.
