Abstract

The following article aims at describing the main features of the “Cl@ssi 2.0” project, which was carried out in Italy by the Ministry of Education (MIUR). The project is embedded in a larger action plan launched in 2009: the National Plan for the Digital School. The main aim of the Plan is to integrate ICT into the daily activities of a school. The article analyses two main aspects of the project: the modification of the learning environment due to ICT integration and teacher training based on a coaching model provided by a network of universities and by the National Agency for the Support of School Autonomy (ANSAS, now known as Indire).
