Gerogogy: a pedagogy for the post-laboral phase

Abstract

Hartford proposes the name of Gerology for Senior Citizen Education. Having mentioned pre-retirement courses of preventive nature, this study is centered on the Senior Citizen classrooms which exist in Spain. They are described insofar as programming and planning goes and also in relation to the development of their courses, student categories and the attitudes of these towards the classrooms. The results of a survey are included as well.
