The qualitative research
Abstract
This paper contains a discussion about the concept and logic of qualitative research, that implies a rigorous description for the record (not always accomplished); also, its qualitative nature is based on a categorical data collection. Therefore, they will be submitted to categorization process and several other phases, in order to arrive to triangulation; this is very recommendable and increases its validity. If the qualitative research has endured some vicissitudes along historical trajectory, also the simple subject studies, consequently, have submitted to this methodology, and they are analyzed from a position in which the case of naturalness don't permit us the replication and it poses serious problems to generalization. This must be solved through the elaboration of an adequate design.
