The arithmetic problems of primary education. Study of dificulties and a didactic proposal

Abstract

The presented investigation is a study about the dificultaties that pupils have concerning the arithmetic problem-solving during the first five courses of primary education. The labour has permitted to give a sequenzation of problems in relation to their difficulty, an ordination of variables that characterizes a problem and an ordinatio of errors in their resolution. All of this have led to add a didactic proposa1 in order to take into account when work the teaching/learning of problem solving in the school.
