The role of the teacher in educational innovation. Some implications about innovative practice

Abstract

On this paper wejnquire about the role of the teacher in the innovation-change processes. One established the role depending from the different theorical perspectives (technological, cultural. sociopoliticial) it is corrected arround the executor, implementor and cunicular agent. Afterwords, this role must be outlined accordin to competences of the teacher researcher-innovator from the consideration of restricted professionality and wide professionality including some of the keys derived from the reform of educational system. Finally, some implications of the aforementioned on the innovative practice are analysed, mainly from the scope of resistences and obstacles that could be find by that professional and concluding underlining some strategies to overcome them.
