The silence and word: reflections on teaching function and gender
Abstract
The aim of this article is to study the teaching-learning situations from the point of view of the gender. The whole investigation includes the study of socialisation processes of students and teachers as well as the kind of relationships that may appear between both the teachers and the students models. This study was partly developed in a public primary school with the participation of all the students and teachers, and it contains some of their opinions concerning a number of different aspects of the docentship. The main hypothesis of the article is that some processes of identification clearly related to the gender, appear and develop within the educational context.
