Exploring the transformative possibilities of educational practice: anthropological knowledge applied to teacher training
Abstract
A program of teacher’s trainning has been developed in three public elementary and primary schools, in a period of two years. The main goal was to improve intercultural relationships in school. The sociol-antpropological approach and the consideration that each member of the group is a cultural subjectect a re the new features of this p roposal, which has let the transformation of the socio-cultural relationships and the educational task in minority groups with isolation risks.
