Initial teacher education in the UPF. Pedagogical principles and organizational forms
Abstract
Teacher training is a factor that guarantees the quality of the institution and the own professional development. Moreover, the new European context forces the university to start a process of socialisation and continuous improvement which should begin from the very first year of the profession. Training, in particular for beginning teachers, has inevitably become necessary. In this article, the team in charge of the pilot course of initial teacher training at University Pompeu Fabra, explains the theoretical framework for their intervention and the general structure of the course. It also briefly points out some of the dynamics that has been generated in the course of the process. Keywords
