The formation of families within the school inclusive: a challenge for communities learning
Abstract
It is fundamental for the strategy of schools which wish to become a «Learning Community
», to aim to full inclusion and effective participation of parents and other relatives in
different spaces of school. The meaningful participation of parents and relatives is understood as a quality practice to undertake in «inclusive schools». There exist several barriers that difficult participation, but also many strategies that can foster it. One of the strategies to encourage commitment of relatives with the well-working of school is the creation and development of training activities. These training actions will contribute not only fostering educational aptitudes and skills, but also enhancing educational quality in school and community context.
