Analysis and conclusions of the 4th International Congress «Education and Social Environment» Workshops

Abstract

The proposals are presented that arose from the IV Congress «Education and Environment » at La Seu d’Urgell, on the basis of workshops held that involved the participation of different professionals from the educational areas of local and regional administrations, representations of mother and father associations, and different leisure organisations. The debate centred on the issue of coexistence, covering four basic core areas: learning processes in education centres, families, social networks and government action. Key ideas were inferred from the proposals made in relation to the perceptions of education and coexistence, which formed the basis for the conclusions to the Congress that were exposed in a document called La Seu Declaration.
