People management in residential childcare resources: counsellor job description
Abstract
This paper shows a proposal of Job Description as a basic tool for people management in residential institutions that are devoted to care for children and adolescents. His preparation cropped up from a research carried out among the counsellor community of residential childcare resources in Barcelona and province. Likewise, it defends the need for the social third sector to incorporate comprehensive policies in management talent in order to deal with current challenges of a complex context that demands professionalism, quality, effectiveness and efficiency. Finally, it presents the benefits, limitations and conclusions on the implementation of Job Descriptions in residential resources.Keywords
