Crossing the ocean. The voices of Latin American young people in Vitoria-Gasteiz
Abstract
A request of Berriztu Education Association and the Department of Immigration and Diversity Management of the Basque Government has led us to develop an investigation, even unfinished, which studied the habits and future expectations of Latin-American young in the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz. After a brief review of the research and reports closer to this issue in our context, we present the working hypotheses and the data collection tools (questionnaire, semi-structured interview) and we report here two youth’s life his-tory summaries. We end with some conclusions that might give clues to future work with all the teenage population. Keywords
