The orientation instructive dimension: The counselor as a facilitator of learning processes
Abstract
This article attempts to present Spanish professionals with the latest discoveris in the field of orientation and guidance applied to the various casuistries that psychopedagogic treatment can present with pupils at any level. In this specific case we synthetically mention the contributions of Jack Martin and his team who believe that an instructional orientation or counseling model is the best for its application in the classroom. This model has three components (structural, hnctional and intentional) and is developed within the frame of reference of programming ased on objectives This article applies this model to the preventive orientation that should be organised in the case of attempting to foresee learning difficulties (in this case language learning difficulties) so that the reader can understand how the paradigm works and its use. The work carried out by J. Martin and B. A. Hiebert is practically unknown in our context, but it can mean a step forward to those circles of orientation specialists who have the opportunity of working as a team. Keywords
