Analysis of the implementation of some national projects using new technologies: The case of nine public schools in Mexico and Colombia
Abstract
This article presents a reflection on some specific applications of national educational projects in public schools of two Latin American countries: Mexico and Colombia. The results were obtained from an exploratory research and mainly through the perception of actors in the field. The framework of this study was the realization of a thesis for the Master of Science in Education from University Paris V René Descartes. The key findings reflect some differences between the programs of the two countries and between the infrastructures and the perceptions of actors in the three contexts considered, such as: indigenous schools, rural and urban areas. We also found some difficulties to match the objectives of institutional programs, the effective use of new technologies in schools and the perceptions of the actors interviewed. Keywords
