The construction of educational innovation in the context of a research project: the case of School + and action research

Abstract

School +: More than a platform to build the school of tomorrow is a project of research and organization development. Its main aim is to reflect on scholar education in order to contribute its improvement taking into account needs and wishes of teachers, students and parents. This project is funded by European Union and their partners are: four universities, four secondary schools and an enterprise, all of them from different European countries. This article shows the more relevant results from the main studies carried out up to now. All that allows to show the complexity of the change process in a project integrated by teachers, students, parents and researchers who have different approaches to what «innovation» is, and that develop their own activity work in a very different contexts.
