Professional development and training for teacher trainer: A professional who leads and trains the teaching staff in processes of educational innovation
Abstract
This article summarizes a research on the competency-based training that teacher trainer must have to lead change processes in teachers professional development; directing training and teachers’ work towards a teaching based on reflective practice, critical and cooperative, instead of content transmission and reproduction. The aim of the research was to define the competencies needed to carry out the role of this trainer and the ones needed to develop them in order to improve their training. This research was carried out from the contrast and analysis of persons involved in the training process.Keywords
