Tutoring and Career planning: A strategy for student guidance within the framework of the EHEA
Abstract
The introduction of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) has meant the recognition of university tutoring as an important quality criterion that requires a plan and putting measures for student guidance into practice. Tutoring is understood as a teaching task: it entails a more personalized interaction with students for guiding them and for planning their learning process. Within the abovementioned framework, this is a descriptive and exploratory research whose aim was to assess the strengths and weaknesses of one institutional Tutoring Plan to facilitate the student learning process and their professional development within the framework of the EHEA. The research method employed was the questionnaire. It focused on opinions and perceptions of student and tutor sample who have participated in the program.Keywords
